Swap goodies!!
I recently took part in a craft swap on Essential Baby.
I recieved these goodies today, aren’t we spoiled!

Don’t they look great with Indi’s room!?!
The room so far!
It is nowhere near finished, but we are getting there!
It is a big improvement on Dora anyway! (I donated the Bed to a local OP shop, and they managed to sell it for $50!)

You can see the light cover I made in the reflection of the picture.
I covered the table, and foudn the hiccups Elephant cushion for $5 from an OP shop!
I also painted the dots on the red bucket
The quilt is finished!!!
Thank you Cherry!!!
I can’t wait to see it in the flesh.
Here are some pics.

Isn’t it just gorgeous!
The Quilt
Isn’t really much of a quilt yet
But here are some of the fabrics, lovingly chosen by Cherry who will be making Indigo’s quilt.
Check out her flickr, she is awesome!

I am excited
So I gave up
I sanded and stripped the bed, and OMG, I am over it.
So I went on eBay and found this
For $35, gotta be happy with that!

Some works in progress…
Here are a few things that I am working on, they may look like crap now, but I am hoping they will all look great when finished!
The bed.
This bed was actually MY bed as a child.
It holds a lot of memories for me.
It has my engravings from my teens years (I *heart* D.G/Matt/Jay …etc)
It was then my sisters bed. So it also has HER ‘loves’ written on it

This table and chairs set belonged to Hunter many years ago.
I have been going to ‘put it out’ every time I have a council clean-up, but kept changing my mind, it has been sitting in the shed for around 2 years now.
It will be starting a new life soon.

I picked up the white chair (which is actually a plant holder) for $20 from the reject shop, and the timber chair for $2 from an OP shop.

And lastly, for now, this gorgeous birdcage. Picked up for $17.50!

Everything will be getting sanded back and painted as a starter, so stay tuned!
